Coin Story

The first copy of the Windows series of History - 100th Anniversary of the Titanic! Let us take you into the fascinating world of the luxury lineritself: How the Kings have to first class passengers have felt when they walked into the foyer of this for the first time. It was the 10th April, 1912. The Titanic, the largest and most luxurious ship of its time, just left the port in Southampton on her maiden voyage to NewYork. She was the queen of the seas and was considered practically unsinkable. Nobody at that time knew that this miracle of technology would sink a few days later in icy water. On the night of 15 April 1912 the Titanic collided with an iceberg. Through its tragic demise, she went down in history. But their splendor was unforgettable. Due to the 100th Anniversary of the Titanic, Allcollect has now issued a coin that combines both the tragedy and the fascination of the luxury cruiser in a unique way. It shows, on 50 grams of solid sterling silver, the Titanic before and after the sinking. Focal point of the coin is the filigree, used glass insert by hand. It is modeled detail of the legendary glass dome over the lobby of the first class. This coin is the perfect edition of the new coin series Masterpieces of Crafts - Windows of History. The mintage has been strictly limited to 1,912 copies. The number is symbolic of the year of the maiden voyage of the Titanic. However, demand for the premium exceeds the low circulation coin by far.

Reverse Design
