Coin Story

First introduced in Japan in 1974, Hello Kitty quickly grew to international fame thanks to her playful blend of child-like charm and ultra-girly style. To honor Kitty's parent company, Sanrio, the world's favorite feline throws her own party via an original collection of precious metals coins and pendants. Unexpectedly shaped as hearts, or featuring charming cutout details within designs, the collection is further distinguished by its use of glossy, enamel-like color or colourful holograms. The Kitty ($20) can be taken out of the coin ($30), and worn as a necklace, due to the punched out hole in the ribbon. A very special coin all around!

Reverse Design

The reveres design captures a Hello Kitty (the ribbon is coloured) surrounded by teddy bears. The images are beautifully designed an finely engraved into the gold coin.

Obverse Design

The obverse of each of the two parts features the an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the two different denominations ($20 and $30).

The Hello Kitty Holy Dollar & Dump - 50th Anniversary gold coin comes in a special "Hello Kitty" presentation case with a Certificate of Authenticity. The perfect measure in staging this beautiful coin.
