The most common and most likely theory is that Chihuahuas are descended from the Techichi, a companion dog favored by the Toltec civilization in Mexico. They are considered to be the smallest dogs in the world. Chihuahuas gained fame thanks to their small size and friendly disposition. Extremely inteligent Chihuahuas learn quickly, are usually joyful, love all kinds of activities and plays.
